I tend to go over in protein on a frequent basis. Is this a bad thing? I thought a high protein diet was a good thing.

Not an expert myself, but I have heard many people on this site say that the protein is set quite low and that they try to see the protein as a minimum goal to reach, not a maximum. No biggie if protein is over. Better than fat/sodium/cals :happy:0

Are you using the MFP defaults for protein, carbs, fat, etc? If so, then you are most likely perfectly fine. The MFP default is quite conservative. I think they have it at 15%. Many people to go 30 or 40% protein.
You can tweak these things if you so choose if you go to My Home -> Goals -> Change Goals -> Custom. Or you can leave it be and not worry about going over on protein.0
