I was nannying today and the kids have that game where you shoot little basketballs in a hoop. U know the games that are at arcades. I played for a while and I was just wondering if that would be burning calories and if played for a longer time, could I log it as excercise? Thanks

Hmmm.... that's reaching a bit, don't ya think?

But to take it a little further.... was your heart rate elevated? Dod you break a sweat? If you were wearing a heart-rate monitor would it have registered that you were "in the zone"?

I do excercise. I was just wondering bc they LOVE playing against me. I wasnt saying that was going to be my only type of excercise. I just thought that people put "CLEANING" as an excercise and "mini-golf", so why not this?

I would think maybe if you are throwing over and over, it might get your heart rate up enough. I know I would sweat playing air hockey.
