Diclofenac/anti-inflammatory use after exercise

I have a question about the use of anti-inflammatory drugs to ease muscle pain after strenuous exercise. Is there any evidence out there that says that the use of these types of drugs slows the process of muscle building? I know that muscle stress is what promotes muscle building so if you are taking drugs that ease inflammation, would you not be slowing the process down somewhat? I have seen some comments about using these types of drugs regularly after exercise and felt it could be counter-productive.
