    Honestly - anywhere between 1 and 5 dates for me - if I fancy them I'm rubbish at keeping my pants on. Sigh.

    Just lucky for me I don't fancy that many people I guess!!! :blushing:

    As for you - absolutely don't do it until you feel ready but I would just add (at the risk of being a bit controversial) that I've had friends who have got too caught up with the 'I'll always be a virgin' thing and got themselves sooo worked up about it that it turned into a huge issue. At the end of the day (barring religion - which is a whole different kettle of fish that I'm not touching...) sex is fun, exciting and incredibly comfortable when you're with the right person - if you don't feel the desire, don't do it just for the sake of it. If you do, then do it and don't get hung up on the status of 'losing your virgnity'. Good luck - hope you find the right guy (and if you do and he's got a hot brother - send him my way!)...

    Honestly, it's all about chemistry. If you don't feel attracted to the guy/girl don't force yourself to commit to a physical relationship, you'll only be all the more awkward and uncomfortable in the process and likely regret it later. When you find someone you want to go to that level with, do it when you're ready. Who cares what other people think? They aren't you.

    I made mine wait till after we were official.. we dated for a couple of months before hand... we are now over our 2 year mark :)
