This has always been my problem and no doubt has caused me a few issues, I have one main meal a day, then maybe some cereal late at night if I'm hungry, that's it.

Yup, tell me how crap it is for me!, I already know but I have always been like this with main meals :noway:

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of issues has eating one large meal a day caused you?
Well, no issues as such but I do wonder if I would have done better eating 3 meals a day although I can't complain as I have lost the weight so I guess all is good.

I just wouldn't recommend eating one main meal a day as I don't think its good for you, If I could get into eating 3 times a day I would but I can't so I won't!

I eat about every 3 hours. I have type 2 diabetes and this was the advice of my doctor. But you need to pay attention of what you are eating for the "snack time" as I call it. The trick is to make sure you do have breakfast, lunch and dinner. That way you will not be hungry. Nothing to eat after 7:00pm. That is a problim in our house because we have always eaten later than that. So I make sure before I leave work at 5:00PM that I have a snack before I leave. It will cut down on the hungry starve feeling before you get home. Check your food lable to make sure it realy is low in fat and sugar. Most low in fat items are high in sugar to make it taste good. a snack of cottage cheese at this time works for me. Put the items in your food diary before hand see where you are at calorie and carb . IF it too much remove it and don't eat it.

There is nothing wrong or unhealthy with eating one large meal a day, as long as you hit your minimum requirements of dietary fat and protein and stay within your caloric budget for weight loss. Enjoy the convenience:-)
