Exercise and Vacations Do Go Together!

Just returned from a trip to Hawaii and want to offer a couple of tips for staying on track when it comes to exercising while on vacation.

l) When you check in at the hotel, immediately go to the fitness center and familiarize yourself with the layout. You will have no excuses for working out each day since you already know where the facility is and what it has to offer.

2) Pack your Pedometer so you can track walking distances, especially if you have a beautiful environment that you can take advantage of. It's also motivating to see how far you've walked by just visiting the tourist attractions.

3) Attend group fitness classes offered by the hotel, like Zumba Water Aerobics, Yoga and Strength classes. They are usually small in size with terrific local instructors.

4) Get up an hour early and head to the gym. You'll feel better, sleep better and will be able to add a cocktail or two to your day! Cheers!

Happy Summer!
