If anyone can recommend any good make ahead and freeze recipes, I'd greatly appreciate it. I work 12 hour shifts, 4 days a week and by the time my off days come along, I'm too tired to cook everyday. So, I'm looking for some good, healthy recipes.

  • Spaghetti sauce (meat or veggie) is always good for freezing!! I usually go by my mom's recipe and use lean ground beef, onion, 1 can of tomato paste and 2 cans of crushed or chopped tomatoes, sometimes mushrooms, a little worcester sauce, and (the secret ingredient) a little bit of marinated sun dried tomatoes! Spaghetti sauce usually freezes well and heats up while you cook the noodles! :D

*edit* goes well with whole wheat or spinach noodles (and cuts back on cals)! NOM NOM!
