I am looking for others to share ideas and inspiration would have Hashimotos or other types of Thyroiditis. I have been living with the disease for over seven years now and have learned much along the way about suppliments, better ways to exercise and so on. It would be great to have others join in.

What are your symptoms? My husband and daughter have had thyroid problems. Regular exercise, lots of rest and healthy eating are crucial. Also, they get their blood checked every 3 months to regulate medicine. :flowerforyou:

I have Graves' disease, myself. My thyroid used to be very overactive, but they did the iodide treatment on me twice before it finally went under active (Thank god, cause under active is only one pill a day, and overactive was like 8 pills a day to help with all the problems it caused!) I've had a lot of troubles with my thyroid over the past few years, but I am finally getting it under control. I find that exercising gives me SO much more energy than I had before, and getting plenty of sleep helps...

Please add me to the list. I also have Hashimotos and had to have my part of my thyroid remove and my weight has been an issue for the past 6 years. I would welcome any new ways to help deal and lose weight.

Hello guys! I happened to search "Hashimoto's" just to see if there was anyone else out there struggling with it. I found this post. Nice to know were not alone. I've been struggling with this disease for over 13 years... but was just officially diagnosed a few months ago. Would love to offer help with what I know, and maybe learn some things that might help me more too.

I was just diagnosed w/ Hashimotos a month ago. Endocrinologist put me on 60mg Armour and I feel great!!
I wasn't in complete failure yet. Only, subclinical. I don't see the weight coming off any faster.. Just feel better about getting out there and getting someting done. I don't always feel like sleeping forever.
