Cardio Resistance? HELP!

Ok, so I have been working out 5 days a week for an hour doing classes. I 've only lost a pound. My friend suggested that my body is resisting the cardio and weightlifting to hang on to the weight that I have. Is this possible? I watch what I eat and most of the time I am usually under my goal for calories and not by a ton either. Anybody else have this issue and how to deal with it? I would like to lose about 100lbs at my final goal weight. I also drink my water for the day..I haven't lost inches either:( Is this a health issue like a thyroid or something? I'm not giving up though, this weight will come off:)

Hi I'm no expert about if it could b something to do with thyroid problems or anything but mayb u jus nd to break thru the barrier with ur body n just keep it up.
It figures if ur on target with ur cals n ur exercising it has go sometime. Remember it takes yrs to put weight on so it doesn't shift easy. I would ask tho if u do the same routines exercises that maybe ur body has come to expect? Mite b an idea to mix it up n jump start ur body by surprising it. That may sound a lil nuts but u kno wot i mean
.
Good luck!0
