hey everyone, soooo, it seems that I finally found the motivation to take some practical steps towards improving my health and losing the weight that I gained while on anti depressants, and joining this site is by far the most reliable action I could take in order to be accountable for my commitment!
I'm excited about sharing my progress with you guys and looking forward to cheering you up along the way!
Let's face it, losing weight is not easy,I've been losing and gaining the same 10 pounds for the past 20 years, but I was able at one point to reach my ideal weight and stay there for a few months, until my meds pooped and my hormones went out of whack to the point of making me crave carbs like a maniac....so here I am, back to feeling really tight in my clothes. My blood work shows that I'm healthy and I am within a normal body fat range , but I want to feel energetic, strong and comfortable in my own skin again.
So, no crazy diet for me, I intend to make this a long lasting change.just common sense, no processed foods, no deep fried foods and no gluten, lots of water and consistently working out harder than I have so far should get me there in no time!
I'm a late night snacker, baaaad, so tweaking this is going to be my biggest challenge, I hope some of you log on to the forum late at night to help me not give up!
