Snacking

I can't find a filling snack that will keep me full for more than an hour. Peanut butter and apples are a great option and so is hummus and veggies, but I would like other options also. I will usually have two Laughing Cow wedges at 35 calories per wedge and 7 reduced fat Triscuits. They still don't carry me far enough and most of my calories are coming from just snacking leaving me no room when dinner comes along. MFP has me at 1,560 per day. My diet is clean, so there are no white sugars, white flours or sweets in my nutrition and I consume mainly seafood and veggies during the week and maybe turkey or chicken one day per week. Any other ideas that I could use to curb my snacking down so that I stay full and satisfied?

Thanks in advance as always!

Well I dont know if it will help but I eat 1 serving of the jack links sesame jerky nuggets or one of those varieties its 70 calories a serving. Protein tends to keep me for alittle bit
  • I know I must sound like a broken record or cd but I really like having nuts between meals bc you can slowly eat them and they have the good fats. i dn't know try it.

I love hard boiled eggs and raw almonds. Other good choices are greek yogurts and cottage cheese. Although, I feel like those two don't fill me up quite as well.

You could also try protein bars/powder... but I don't know if you would like that, since you said you eat very clean.
