My intentions is to not misinform people. I want everyone to be successful at their fitness goal. I know the frustrations that can come with weight loss as all of us know. I want to limit those frustrations, I think a big part of it, is due to misinformation of how the body and how macro nutrients really work. I want all of you to be successful. I think the misinformation is created to benefit the people who started the misinformation in the first place.
I know I have stated some very extreme things and methods. Not so people practice them, but to make a point against the inaccurate information. I want people to open their mind and not be manipulated by someone who is trying to make a profit.
I am for you guys, for the people, I am not against you.
If people try to practice things I have mentioned, they can seriously injure themselves. Like I already stated, the things I have mentioned where just to make a point, not to practice. The things I have mentioned are for people who are very very experienced, and know "exactly" what they're doing. If you have any doubt in what you're doing, consult the appropriate authority.
I have talked about hormonal control, Growth hormone control with diet, and exercise. I talked about controlling your insulin for maximum fat loss. I have talked about very low calorie diets.
The dangers of these are...
Growth Hormone control with diet - if done incorrectly can lead to serious eating problems, which can lead to severe and quick weight gain that you may not be able to break out of.
Growth Hormone control with exercise - this can lead to serious injury to your muscles or skeletal structure. It can also lead to death. with certain unsupervised exercises.
Controlling insulin levels - This can lead to a diabetic coma, which you may not be able to survive.
Very Low calorie diets- Can lead to eating disorders, severe decrease in muscle mass, bone density issues, even death.
The best "general" advice I can give. Is slow gradual progress is best. You're not trying to win a race, ease in to what you're doing, ease in to exercise, ease in to nutrition. If you suddenly change everything, your body will resist. For example if you want to eat at 1500 calories, and you're currently eating at 2500. Maybe start eating at 2200, for a month or two. Then go down to 2000 for a few more months. etc...
Same with exercise, if you have difficulty walking a mile, try to walk a quart mile, if not an 1/8 of a mile, do that a couple times a week and slowly build up to a mile.
I believe that nutrition is the most important thing. An example of easing in to nutrition is to set a goal, like eat a health breakfast. Keep on doing that till it's second nature. Once you have that down, then work on eating a healthy lunch, once you have that down, then a dinner. After you have all your meals healthy, you can work on improving them in terms of being more healthy.
Health and fitness is like an old man sinking in to a tub, slow and gradual over time is best.
