Here is a copy of the ad I posted on Craigslist and thought it might be worth a shot on here:

We (my fiance and I) are currently living in Norman, I graduated from OU in May and am wanting to go to TU to continue my education. We are planning on moving at the end of July. We are needing housing in Bartlesville or the University of Tulsa area. My fiance is transferring into a job in bartlesville and I will of course be getting student loans so we will have plenty of money to pay rent. The problem we are encountering is with our dog. He is a great dog, loving and very very non-destructive. We are absolutely willing to pay a pet deposit and we would guarantee that there would be no damage and I would vacuum every other day if need be. We are very clean people and we would keep whatever property we rented immaculate. Lastly we would love to find somewhere with a yard so that our dog could go outside and have a little room to run. If you know of anything please please email me

I live in Tulsa and I can tell you there are a lot of great places up for rent around the TU area! I suggest you take a road trip here for the weekend to drive around and jot some numbers down. And I'll tell you this too, be careful with Craigslist and the TU area. I made that mistake and am currently living in it. While TU is a fantastic school, that part of town has "pockets" in the neighboring areas. What I mean by this is that there are fabulous neighborhoods and then 2 streets down can be completely ghetto, or anywhere in between. There are a lot of small apartment complexes that used to be housing for TU students before they did they massive renovation years ago, which have now turned into low-income housing and you can imagine the type of people it attracts. I moved into a duplex to save money and it's not worth it. I personally suggest staying south of 11th in the Lewis-Hardvard area. I wouldn't so much find something in the North of 11th neighborhood that is directly behind TU (Lewis-Hardvard). There are however, a bunch of cute houses for rent east of TU between Admiral and 11th St. I hope this all made sense and will be of use to you!
