Trying this out

Hi everyone,
I used pen and paper for calorie counting for years. I am finally using technology to its full potential, I am not sure I like it yet. It seems to be more time consuming than the writing it down. I think it is because I have all the calorie counts in my head, now I have to search for foods. With my exercise I don't like to enter it because it gives me more calories to eat and I don't want to eat the calories I just burned. Does anyone know if there is a way to log exercise and not have it add calories to your bank?
Good luck to everyone in their weight loss journey. It is not easy but so worth it.

But isn't it bad not eat your calories you've burned? I'm new to this..

I did the pen and paper version for a long time as well. After a few days on MFP I realized that many of my foods are repetitive, and don't require a lot of search.
You may be able to create an exercise 'custom made' and just enter a description and no calories. Not sure, I love to see my work-out calories piling up!
