Kicking that plateau in the booty and trying something new.

After 6 frustrating months on Weight Watcher's new points plus plan without losing any weight (I had lost 30 pounds on the previous plan); I finally decided to try something different. I'm a major foodie and love cooking so I wanted to find something practical and sustainable. Initially, I went on another calorie counting website who suggested me having 1200 calories a day with or without exercise. Needless to say I was starving and had difficulty sustaining this practically. That's when I discovered MFP and was super excited that I was actually allowed to eat more if I exercised. Talk about a major motivator. I just started the program this week...so wish me luck that all this crazy math works out. However, I have a challenge right off the bat. My husbands b-day is this weekend and we're going wine tasting. Any suggestions other than running a marathon?

Thanks!

Dore

    Hey there,
I also just joined this week and am absolutely in love with this website. Being a newbie myself, the only thing I can suggest is that you work out that day, enjoy yourself, but watch your portions. The last thing that you want to do is deprive yourself on your husband's birthday.
    Hope that helps,
    Robyn

Yeah i agree with you, I used to go to gym 6 day a week WITH a personal trainer but never got the results I wanted, now Ive lost 6kg since feb, toning up nicely and it is achieveable, sustainable and you can eat more but burn it off before bed is my mantra! All the best with your goals.
