The reality of having to take a month off is setting in...

So next week, we're going to Spain for a month. Sounds awesome right? YES! AWESOME! I'm so excited.

But the reality of my no-internet connection IE no myfitnesspal for a month, is starting to set in. I KNOW I can make smart choices and I KNOW we will be doing TONS of walking and stuff, but still, I am freaking out! I live on this site! I depend on it!

It's a very weird feeling knowing that I won't have my life-line, but also at the same time knowing that I can do this... I think. I'm just so conflicted!

They don't have internet in Spain? Even if they don't you CAN do it! Have a great trip!

I'm sure Spain isn't a backward country! Try going to the internet cafe. And if it's a matter of being out in the boonies of Olive grove..take an actual notebook. Something to show your accountability to.Oh, and HAVE FUN!

Buy a tablet! An write down your foods. Even if you don't keep track of the calories just keeping track of the foods and such will help a lot.

But you can do it no matter what

Well I know they HAVE internet, I just will never get on it... why waste my time in internet cafe's when I'm in Spain! Although I will probably get on once or twice....

The actual notebook idea is a good one, Noctuary and niaAmy, thank you, I hadn't thought of that.

Ofcourse they do I was being sarcastic. I've been to Spain simply amazing, but using 10 mins at the end of your day to do some quick logging is not a "waste" of time. I wasn't suggesting that you spend a significant amount of time online during your trip I was just pointing out the fact that you can still log and you don't have to be "away" for a month. Unless you want to be.
