Somewhat new to this site & I absolutely love it. I've been trying to lose weight for a long time but I've never actually done it the right way. This site has allowed me to see where I'm making my mistakes, but without changing my entire way of life. I am able to eat what I like, but recognize moderation is needed. My goal is to lose 65 lbs and I have a long way to go, but I feel like this site will help a lot. My main motivation I being able to shop at a normal clothing store..not plus size...and not feeling sloppy or out of place at work because I'm constantly uncomfortable with my body. Wish me luck!

congrats!!!! i can't wait to see the scale start going down. i've only been on here consistently for 4 days, but it has made a WORLD of a difference. i am so tired of my excess fat...

I like being able to log my food - though I tend to eat the SAME things all the time. It does let me see when I've gone a little crazy or whatever. I also like being able to back track and see what I ate 3 or 4 days ago if I see an increase or a decrease on the scale.
Moderation is key as is portion control. In the last year, I've been shocked to learn that what we all think is a portion size of something is usually 2 or 3!
