If I am supposed to burn 3220 calories a week to lose the goal weight I have set, and I have missed 3 days. Can I take the 3220 and divide it by 6 (because thats how many days I work out) and add those three days I missed up and work them all off in one day and then still eat my normal amount of calories? Would that work for losing weight, or would that throw me off?

Im still learning and quite confused... HELP!?!?!?

Thanks,
Bree

probably not :( Just eat your normal calories, jump back into your workouts and try to do better next week!

You can have some days that you have a higher caloric deficit than others and still reach the same goal. However, I wouldn't recommend trying to have several days where you are bad and than one or two days where you overdo it. If you miss a day here or there, just try to compensate a little over the next few days and you should be fine. Hope that helps.

Am I misunderstanding something? MFP gives us a deficit in calories so we can lose weight even if we don't workout? Of course I do exercise but I read it as a weight loss regardless of the amount of exercise?
