Doesn't strength training burn calories?

Why does myfitnesspal only count calories burned for cardio exercises, not strength training? When I work out for 30 minutes at the gym, doing exercises for abs, thighs, etc., I sure feel like I've burned calories, at least as much as walking or jogging etc.

There is a strength training selection under the cardio section...this one will show calories burned. You ARE burning calories!

Oh thanks. It confused me that cardio and strength were broken up separately and the strength section didn't count calories. That's good to know, I'm gonna go fix it! Thanks again.0
