French Manicure Question!

I absolutely love the look of french manicures & I'm thinking about possibly getting one soon. However, (except for my thumb nails which are a little longer), my other finger nails are really quite short (the tips are just barely over the top of my fingers). So, would a french manicure not look good on me since (most) of my nails are short? Please be honest!! lol

I do my own tips on my natural nail and my nails are fairly short. The tips make your nails look longer. So I would say go for it0

are you against french tip acrylics? they usually last about 30 days they would cut your nails short for it anyway then they glue on insanely long claw like white tips then you decide how long u want them then they use a powder and liquid and form it to your nail it hardnes they sand it then paint over with a clear shine it looks fab0 -
I'm probably the only person in the world who doesn't like french manicures (though I don't dislike them as much as I dislike fake acrylic nails....).
But, if you like it, go for it, if you have a good manicurist they will make your nails looks fabulous even if they are short.0 -
Love, love French Manicures! Very clean, classy, and sexy all rolled into one
The only thing I'd say about the short nail thing is that if you have tiny nail beds (the part that's pink), the tip might make your nails look stubby. Otherwise, I say DO IT !!!0 -
I think they look fine on shorter nails as long as the white portion is scaled down a bit.
The only time I don't like French Manicures is on toes--to me it then simply looks as though you've forgotten to trim your toenails. Given the popularity of this look though, I must be in the minority! LOL0 -
