Well ladies...we made it! It is a very bittersweet feeling to know that this challenge has come to an end. When I first started this challenge, I had no clue how many people would be affected by it. I didn't know how many people would actually participate, and I definitely did not know how meeting all of you would completely change the destination I decided to go in life.
I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for everything! Your dedication, candidness, and positivity has greatly inspired me. I owe it all to each and everyone of you for helping me to see what my passion is now, and that is helping others get healthy and realize how worthy they are to live a life of true happiness and discover their self worth.
So please enter your weights one last time, as a Sunshine. Post your measurements and final pictures to this thread. Be proud of your accomplishment. For those that lost the 40lbs, AWESOME WORK, truly amazing how you guys fought for it every week. For those that did not lose 40lbs, including myself, I think the best accomplishment is that you did not quit on the group, and most importantly on yourselves.
I can't wait to start the next challenge on June 13th. I hope all of you decide to participate. However, for those who do not...I again THANK YOU for allowing me into your lives, and for coming into mine.
Be proud of yourselves ladies, because I sure am proud of you!

I said I would do this challenge and I will finish it! Sorry to say that I sure did not lose the 40 lbs but on the good side I met all of yous on here. That way I know that I'm not alone on this journey. Thank you all for sharing... I love reading all what you all had to say! sorry that I don't write much on here but being french I have a hard time translating everything that I really want to say and sometimes it does not come out the way I want it too... Trust me...my ex bf was english and sometimes he would get all confuse and say ''WHY ARE YOU SAYING THAT? What are you talking about?'' lol
Anyway I was here for a reason and it was to lose weight... I started on the right foot... was down almost 25 lbs but the last two months have been awful.... OH WELL! No very proud of what's going on with me.... My body is going crazy again!
I will be back for the next challenge for sure!
Congrats to all of yous! YOU ARE ALL AMAZING TO STICKING TO THIS CHALLENGE!!!!!0 -
Oh I also want to say THANK YOU to all of you for all the support. I am so proud of everyone this is hard work but it is worth it in the end. I think I would have ended up gaining weight if it wasnt for the fact that I knew I had you guys rooting me on. I hope everyone does the next challenge because we are awesome!!!

12 lbs!! Sweet! Lately, I think I'm focusing more on working out than on eating, and I think food is a bigger factor for me. Need to do something about that... :laugh:0 -
Hi Ladies!
When I signed up for this challenge I thought it was a great idea and hoped that I would see it to the end... and a big surprise to me I actually completed something I started! Thank you for your friendship and support during this journey. I have learned a lot and appreciate everyone in this challenge. Thank you.
When I started this challenge I believe I weighed in at 230. Today I am 198. Never thought I could do this, but with your support I was able to.
This challenge has helped me in so many ways, and am down 32 lbs! When I started up (again) I was doing it to show people that there was something wrong with me and it was not possible for me to lose weight.... I guess I can.
I am going to continue with the next challenge. Thank you Krystle.0 -

Weight at start of challenge = 175 lbs
Todays weight = 136
TOTAL LOSS = 39 LBS
Now let me tell you what I have gained!!!! I could go on and on but to sum it up the biggest thing I ganed was HOPE!! Hope that I wouldnt always be miserable in the flesh that I live in!!! This DNA flesh is not who I am but it does have a huge affect on my life and being more comfortable in it has made all the difference in my life!!
To date I have completed 6 5K runs and 1 sprint triathlon!! I will participate in my first 26.2 mile marathon run in december for St Jude's Childrens Hospital ............ ALL because of this challenge!!!!!!! Because I felt like each of you were counting on me to NOT GIVE UP!!!!!! As I finished my triathlon with tears in my eyes my husband and son were there asking if I was ok, had I hurt myself? I told them those were tears of victory!! (even now I have tears!! Tears of joy!!)
My journey is not over but by the Grace of God has just begun I hope to get to 125 and be able to maintain it!!
Look for me Krystle on June 13th!!! Sign me UP!!0 -

I am happy about the loss of 15.8Lbs. Even though I could have done a lot better. But coming weeks I will be focused and I will acheive my initial goal weight of 150. In this 6 months, I have acheived which I thought was next to impossible. I did a 5K, officially two 5K's. Currently this month I am focusing on doing a 10K for my daughter and a half marathon in August for my husband and next year I aim to do a marathon for ME. I want to believe I could do this.I will give my best.
Krys thanks for this friendly and well organized challenge. This journey with you guys has been wonderful. I got inspired by looking at so many motivated people. Great job on your losses and enjoy the summer.0 -
@Krys_T – Way to go girl! You did amazing this challenge, not only did you lose weight, you changed the lives of so many people here through your encouragement and support.

@ttv2004 – I totally believe in you girl, you will reach your goal by August 2012! I can’t wait to start the next challenge either. It’s going to be so fun!
@Steph_135- Good job girl! I’m with you on the food being a bigger factor than exercise, if my food is off no matter how much exercise I do, I don’t see too much change. I wish it was the other way around! Lol
@Kkmama- You did so great! Congrats on finishing! You definitely proved your could lose weight! Way to go girl!
@tt113- You are inspirational! You’ve accomplished and gained so much, it’s beautiful to see, congrats hun!

Just reading and responding to you all in this challenge has me choked up! You have all accomplished so much. I’m so proud to have been part of this group Thank you Krys for creating it, to Whittrusty for putting together the awesome spreadsheets and thank you to everyone for the support, encouragement, and love! I end this challenge with 38lbs and 20 inches lost. I started at 223lbs and ended at 185lbs, thinking back to the beginning it seems so long ago! At the same time this challenge seemed to fly by! I’m looking really forward to starting the next challenge with you ladies, to stay connected and focused
Love you all!
Xoxo!

Final Weigh In Gang...
Challenge start weight 272.4
Today's weight: 266.5
It's only six pounds but I lost a total of 12 inches during this challenge. I committed to exercising 5 days a week for a solid two months of this challenge, something I had not been able to do before.  I'm  that this challenge is over but its also fitting because I feel glad that I have been able to complete something.
After this weekend, I won't be on MFP much of the rest of the summer due to some traveling that I will be doing. However, in my mind I am going to carry all your encouraging words with me so that when I am back later in the summer, I have some positive stories and successes to share with you all. That is going to help shore me up when I am faced with my own personal challenges and blocks. But knowing that you all dusted yourselves off, kept going and keep going are amazing motivators for me. It has been a wonderful journey and I am so thankful to have stumbled across Snowflakes to Sunshine and I hope that you all enjoy summer and shine brightly!
Be well and I will check in w/ you all soon.0 -

Definately not the way I wanted to end this, but it is what it is. I'm learning new things about myself and learning there is A LOT I have to work on. I'm hoping the next challenge I will find myself. I need to do some deep searching within to find what is eating me (or causing me to eat! LOL)
I'm so proud of those who have finished the S2S challenge blowing there 40 lb goals out of the water.
And to the others who did awesome as well, Congrats!!
As for me, I lost a measley 5.8 lbs in 5 mths! That really makes me wanna cry.  :sad:0 -
