So I have been doing P90X and love it the probelm is I have a Garming Forerunner 305 and when I do the DVD's and use my heart rate monitor it doesn't reall y track my calories. Like when I did Plyometrics for an hour with my hear rate at 180 it told me I burened 40 calories. I have already spent a ton of money on this program and don't really want to go out and buy another heart rate monitor just for this. So I don't know how to track my calories burned. The book says you burn about 600 calories a workout but I can't do the whole DVD as of right now so I know I'm not burning 600 calories but more than 40!! Today I did core synergistics and when I looked online people are saying they buren anywhere from 400 to 600 calories. My watch told me 60......so after all of this what should I do!! Guess on my calories and hope I'm close?

It sounds like you simply need to add a zero to what your watch is saying you have burned. But I don't know why that would be!0

OMG I totally know what you mean.
I personally don't think I burn 600 calories an hour, but I know a girl that says its about 300 for the cardio stuff and then you just enter "weight training" under cardio and log 60 minutes and for me its under 200 cals.I know that doesn't help but I would rather underestimate my calories burned then thinking I'm burning billions of calories so I can eat more.
If anyone has anything advise for us I'd love to know0
