Going to Fleet Feet Chicago tomorrow

I can't wait. I'm going to Fleet Feet in Chicago tomorrow to get fitted for some good running shoes. Then I'll finally be able to start my c25k program. I've been waiting weeks for this. I'm so excited to finally get running. Just thought I'd share.

Awesome! I can't stress how important being properly equipped for a sport is... when its running, it all boils down to your feet!

Good Luck on your C25K! It is an awesome program and will help you on your way to being a runner!

I love the excitement of new shoes!! I felt the same way when I got fitted. Although I must say running the treadmill in the middle of the store with everyone watching...not the highlight of my day. LOL.

Fleet Feet is a great store. I got my running shoes from them, and I even had to return a pair because they weren't working for me, and they were very accommodating.

Yeah, deep down I've always wanted to run a marathon. I'm starting to feel like I could possibly make that happen one day. It's still a long ways off though. Just gotta start with the c25k. Then the bridge to 10k.
