Hi

I've just started this DVD and liking it so far. Does anyone have the data (calories burned etc) for each of the levels to put in the exercise bit of this site?

I don't even know where to start working that out!!!

Calories burned are really dependent on your height, weight, level of intensity (heart rate), etc. To really be accurate about it you need a heart rate monitor.

circuit training... but it's best to get an HRM so you can have a more accurate count of calories burned

I call it circuit training and I figure I burn about 280 calories. Good luck with it, I love Jillian!

I wear a heart rate monitor and record whatever calories I burn over the course of the workout. There's no set number of calories because it varies from person to person and even from workout to workout. My wife typically burns about 230 calories on any of the levels while I'm closer to 350.

So I'm the only one who actually logs it as, "30 Day Shred" then? LOL. I use Circuit Training for actual circuit training and weight lifting.

It will be the best investment you ever make in your fitness. Knowing exactly where I am in my calorie burn has been the single most valuable tool to losing weight, especially now when I'm really just working on getting just a little leaner.

I just started the 30 Day Shred today. I use a HRM and log it under 30 Day Shred.

I have a Polar F11 I got second hand off ebay for cheap. Great watch.
