Even if you weren't born yet, everyone has heard a song or two from the 80's. Which is your favorite?

    I can't just pick one! I  80s songs.

Hmm, okay - today my favorite will be "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper. I listened to it this morning while working out.

Pick one?!? I grew up on music in the 80s. I guess if I had to narrow it down it would be "Careless Memories" by Duran Duran. I'll probably realize later today that it's something different. :)

I have to pick just one?!?!?! Hmmmm....

Nope, can't do it, they're all my favorite. The 80's were a great decade for tunes and music videos made on a shoestring budget.

My favorite video was Ah-Ha's "Take on Me" though. :)

SO many great songs from the 80s - such cheese-tastic fabulosity. I have many favorites, but the one I am enjoying most right now is "Break My Stride" by Matthew Wilder:

Ain't nothin gonna break my stride
    Nobody gonna slow me down
Oh no - I've got to keep on movin...
Ain't nothin gonna break my stride
    I'm running and I won't touch ground
Oh no - I've got to keep on movin...

    :)

Cyndi Lauper - Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Damn. SOOOO many good choices. I'm the same with not really being able to choose just one... But I'd have to go with Hazy Shade of Winter or Walk Like an Egyptian by the Bangles, mostly because I still love Susanna Hoffs... lol. But I also liked the Tears for Fears I saw, but I'd have gone with Shout. As well as all of the other choices! lol

You really have to break the '80s down, there were several "phases" the music went through. Leftover late 70s suergroupssmiley-cool15.gif, Funksmiley-cool09.gif, New Wavesmiley-cool08.gif, Hair bandssmiley-cool11.gif, Punksmiley-cool10.gif, etc...
Oooh, Flashback to 1984 for a minute there, sorry... So many different styles, colors..... Duuude! What was in that stuff??
I will leave you all with a blast from the past. Who didn't love Max Headroom? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEPq0FvFm3g
