Hi Everyone! My sister just clued me in to this site (through the iPhone App) last night. I need this very badly! Been struggling for years! Got SO close to my goal last year by losing 50 pounds, and it's ALL come back on. So angry with myself and ashamed and discouraged. I have not been able to stick to anything ever since. Hoping to find some people who have similar goals/struggles and are finding ways to stick to their plans. I'm a married career mom with 2 kids in school. Time? What's that? :-)

HI! Welcome to MFP... I have been here a little over 2 months and the encouragement and support I've found is great! I have still 41 lbs to lose to get to my first gw...when I get there I'll decide if I want to go lower! I am a working career mommy of a 2 year old... it can be so difficult working full time, having mommy responsibilities, etc... and I need all of the accountability I can get!!0

Hello....
I just joined yesterday and I fully understand what your saying about losing it and gaining it back.....WE CAN DO IT.....
Feel free to add me as your friend and I'll try my hardest to send positive messages even when we fall off the wagon and eat the bag of peanut M&M's
Have a great day and drink lots of water!!!!0 -
Same here! Mommy of 3! All in different stages of life...one is 15yrs old, one is 6yrs old and one is 3yrs old...totally keep me on edge! LOL
I have 50 to lose as well! That is my goal. What I can tell you is, track, track, track, drink water, drink water, drink water, if you can't do anyother exercise....WALK. Take the kids with you if you have to but try to atleast walk 30 mins a day 5x's a week. Walking is a great form of exercise when your first starting out. If you work in an office setting, bring tennis shoes to work and walk on lunch or breaks...I do and get in 3-4 miles a day! Also don't be so hard on yourself if you fall of the wagon...it happens...just get back up and get back on and keep moving foward. You can do it! :-)0 -
Hola! I'm on a mission to lose 40+ pounds. I almost made my goal a few years ago, quit, and the pounds slowly started to creep back on. All of the sudden I was closer to my all time high than I was to my low. I've been using MFP since the end of March (my sister led me to it as well). I don't have kids, but I don't have a lot of time either. My profile has more detailed info., including my weekly and monthly goals (which I find help me keep focused week after week). If you'd like to be friends, just shoot me a request. Either way, best of luck with your goals, YOU CAN DO THIS0
