Today I talked with my trainer about new goals, especially considering that I want to someday get my trainer certification. It is nice to have some fresh goals, but scary too . . .Want to weigh about 170 (I think, that is 30 less than I am now) but more importantly I want body fat to be about 19% Anyone got a magic pill or at least some really good advice?

I recently got my body fat percentage tested and mine is 19.1 which honestly surprised me. I run and do about 20 mins of strength training circuit my gym has with about 3 mins of ab work.

I am in the same boat as you. My goal is about fat loss now, which will still cause my weight to lower eventually, but I'm not daring to change my goal weight. I'm done worrying about the scale.

The best thing you can do, IN MY OPINION, is to make sure you're doing some sort of resistance training and have the right ratio of carbs/fat/protein for building muscle and dropping fat. This is the approach I'm taking.

Good luck in reaching your goals!

yeah, I am in love with weight training, so that box is checked

my dietary goals are always about 45% protein . . .some days I hit it, some days I don't

I have a renewed interest in running, but I don't *enjoy* it!

Your ratios are based off height, current weight, goal weight, etc...its not just I want it to be this. Its a formula you build. Do some research. Check your BMR too
