So....maybe I'm a little slow here, but what does it mean when people write "bump!" in the forums?

    It can be used a couple ways, I think the most common is that any topic you create or reply to gets listed in 'My Topics'. Replying with 'bump' allows to to quickly go back and find maybe a recipe you saw earlier that you can't write down or print at that moment. Later on you go to My Topics and the thread is listed there.

    It's when people decide to not to respond to the topic, and they just put "bump". This allows them to save the topic for future reference or to go back to it and respond. Whenever you respond to a topic it shows up on your profile page, and you can always go back and view it. I was confused about this for a long time also. Now I bump all the time! lol
