Can anyone tell me when they started changing their diet, if their resistance to bacteria was lowered? I think I might be coming down with the flu and I'm wondering if my eating habits has anything to do with it?

Hmm, if you're eating healthier, and drinking all of the suggested water, I would think your immune system would respond in a positive way, not negative. :(

    Hope you feel better soon!

I wouldn't necessarily connect the two. It's possible that your body may be struggling at first to adjust to your new diet and it's causing you to get sick. But it's much more likely you just got sick on your own.

In the long run, living healthier is much better for your health, so keep at it.

I've noticed that I have a higher resistance. Everyone around me is passing around a cold and I'm the only one who hasn't been effected.

First, the flu is a virus, not bacteria. Does that matter in this context, not really. I believe I've heard that you can kind of feel ill when you first start losing weight because of all the toxins stored in your fat is being released into your system. Once you flush these out, you feel better. Another reason to drink more water!
