Tomorrow I'm going to a wedding, it's going to have a lot of BBQ food, what advice can you give me who is trying hard not to over do it. I won't have internet access to keep myself in line on myfitnesspal...I know there will be booze as well....should I just avoid eating until the receptoin... seriously I really could use some advice!

IDK if this is the healthiest idea but i would eat breakfast (as light as possible) and not eat again until the reception and allow myself to splurge a bit. I dont mean completely gorge everything you see or want. But have a taste of everything and no seconds
good luck to you0 -
I would say keep it in your mind, drink lots of water all day, keep thinking portions, don't snack a lot, etc. but mostly Have a great time tomorrow!!0

I second a light breakfast but be sure it includes protein and fiber to help you feel fuller. Maybe some snacks of veggies later in the day before the wedding will help too. Do you have time to squeeze in a quick workout in the morning? When I have days like that, I try to find some time to exercise to help give me a few hundred calories to apply toward the event. Maybe you could also try leaving a little bit of each food item on your plate, so you can still enjoy yourself but try to keep your portions in check. Have fun!0
