I have been active my entire life, i danced a ton of hours a week combined with two dance teams and when i started college my fear of gaining the "freshman 15" scared me so bad i actually lost weight. I broke up with my boyfriend and lost of friends because of that and become really depressed. Didnt know which way to go ,didnt want to go to college anymore and gained weight...Things are a lot better though that was just a phase but its so much easier to put on then off. I still work out 4-5 times a week but i feel im just maintaining the weight i have because i still eat. How do i get the motivation to want to stop or stop thinking constantly about food? Im about to be 20 and shouldnt be worrying about this ...Im just a normal college student ,working, and want to be thin again.

You are a very active girl, with a lot on your plate.

I know first hand how difficult it is to think about things other than food. It is a hump that you have to get over. For me, the only way to do it was by FORCING myself to think about and do other things. You are under a lot of stress and need to relax a little. Do you have any hobbies? Do you know how to knit/crochet/embroider? These things are relaxing, require focus and keep your hands busy.
