Here is an awesome article on making it. Keen to try this greek style as I've just taken a liking to olives

omg I have never heard of this and now I must make a meatza...
thank you!0 -
BUMP! Awesome for low carb people.0
-
That looks awesome0

Freaking wonderful lol!!
You know, there's SO much good information out there...it's hard to take it all in. I've got a favorites list of sites I've meant to 'read into' ten miles long...and 95% of them I've never seen again.
/sigh...thanks for bringing this to my attention lol...looks like dinner for tomorrow night =D.0 -
Made it for dinner tonight...holy CRAP that stuff's filling! Tasty too...though I made mine a bit more like traditional pizza with mozarella, onions, bell peppers, olives, and mushrooms lol.
Still only 297cal, 3g carbs, 16g fat, 30 protien, 268 sodium, and 1g fiber lol =p.0 -
This looks fantastic! Definitely going to try this!! Yummmmmy0

I'm going to use a bigger pan next time so the hamburger can be thinner lol...it's literally like covering a double quarter pounder's worth of meat with pizza toppings...and eating it.
REALLY good...but a bit over powering at 1/2"-3/4" thick lol.0 -
Mmmmmmmmmm... I wanna try that!0

Bump - looks awesome !0

LOL, that's intense mate! Mine was about 1/2" thick I reckon and worked well but I did have mass toppings. My first one was topped with mixed frozen veggies, onions, capsicum and chillies.0 -
This is the first I've heard of it, this will absolutely fly with my husband! lol he's going to be extatic when he hears about this!! lol I wonder if you could do it on the bbq!?0

Am I the only one that thinks this looks nasty? LOL. Yikes!0

hehe, Depending on cookery skills, it could "look" a bit odd. I eat all sorts of "weird" stuff, well looks weird anyway so just another weird looking dish to most0 -
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL OF MY LIFE?!
This stuff is sooooooo good. Just made it for the first time. I prefer it to regular pizza. The "crust" is so flavorful and the Greek-style combonation of ingredients make this whole dish reminiscent of a gyro.
My crust came out sort of thick, but I like it that way.
I'm trying it again and again with different flavors. What about spicy texas style with cheddar and salsa? Or BBQ chicken (would be a loooot of meat, you could probably eat a smaller piece).0 -

Yep...there's a million flavors you could do. I'm considering cooking onions into it....topping it with mashed cauliflower and country gravy and serving it like that. Sort of like hamburger steaks =D.
Ohh...patty melt flavor!
=D0 -
Good ideas! Yeah, cooking onions into the base would be awesome!0
-
Bump. Might be worth a try...0

YUM!!!! Going to make this, this week! Thanks for sharing0
-
I made this for dinner, but used 1lb Ground Turkey and 1lb Turkey Italian Sausage instead of ground beef!!! SO SO SOOO Delish and was under 300 calories for each serving!0
-
So I did the greek version today
196cals, 4g carbs, 9g fat, 23g protein per slice. Don't think I'll put onion in the base again as I think it makes it fall apart a bit more.0 -
My Meatza...
I like mine veggie heavy :-)
Was delish!
