Can you eat whatever you want as long as you are + 1200 calories per day. Example, if I burn 1,000 calories per day - am I allowed to eat anything as long as my total caloric consumption per day is 2,200 calories. Will I lose weight if I stick with this diet plan of eating whatever I want but working out to burn 1,000 calories a day - so total caloric consumption would be 2,200 calories per day? Pleas advise!

If you did that it would be better than your old way of eating. But, we all need to eat more healthy.

You can, but you have to remember that everyone will process food differently when it comes to sugar, carbs, etc so I would keep that in mind as well.

Yes, although you will find that healthier foods will make it easier to stay full throughout the day.
  • Simply put, yes. As long as you take in less calories that you burn, you will lose weight.

Foods also contain very important vitamins and minerals, so getting the majority of your calories from whole foods will be beneficial to overall health, BUT, will not affect weight loss.

Maybe, but what's the point? If you don't significantly change the way you eat and live, more than likely, you'll gain the weight back.
  • I feel like if you deprive yourself of the foods you love, that in itself would make a weight loss diet harder to adhere to. Just my opinion. I haven't given up ONE food that I love, and am steadily losing weigh. It all comes down to calories in vs. calories out in regards to overall weight loss.
