Hi guys! Ive had the MFP app on my phone for a while, and Im just now putting it to good use. I welcome any and all encouragement, suggestions, and advice. Im an overweight former gymnast that is ready to get back to my former glory. So far I have a good support system with my good friend T, and found some adult gymnastics classes in my area. T and I are going to be working on cardio every day for a half hour, and increasing the time gradually. Im still working on eating better, but I havent perfected that one yet. Any daily meal suggestions are appreciated. What works for you? I have recently cut out soda, so thats a start. I look forward to having an online support in my journey so feel free to talk to me! Thanks everyone!!!

Welcome...Cutting out the soda is a wonderful start. I can never understand how people can drink it. You will find after a while of being soda free that you will not like the taste of it.
You also have an advantage of having a physically active past. You know how to move your body and what feels right and what doesn't. You should do very well.
Look into some threads on this site. Just search for anthing that interests you such as gymnatics, eating healthy, etc. You can also search for a particular age group and other interests. Make some friends. They will encourage you.
