Anyone have any good suggestions for snacks/food to bring to a softball tournament?? I spend quite a few weekends in the summer at the fields with my daughter and I hate the idea of concession stand "food". They don't allow you to bring anything in to the ballpark so it would have to be items that can be kept in the car.

If you are a chip addict like me, the Special K cracker chips are a wonderful alternative. The sea salt flavor is 30 chips at 110 calories and the sour cream & onion flavor are 27 chips at 110 calories. I threw a box of them in my car when on a road trip and didn't feel guilty snacking on them. You could also keep some Crystal Light To-Go packets in the car for when you're thirsty. Buy or bring a bottle of water and mix the packet in... instead of buying a soda at the concession stand.

Fresh fruit and Veggies with low fat dressing are a must. Specia K crackers for a salty crunch, salsa or spicy hummus with baked tortilla or pita chips. Fat free pudding. Low fat granola. Peanut Butter on Wheat thin whole wheat crackers. Stick to portions size. That is key to any snacking and make sure it fits into your goals.
