Extra calories earned?

I'm sure this has been covered before but I am fairly new to the site. How do most of you handle the extra calories earned from exercise. With my goal settings I'm basically consuming 1000 less calories than what I burn for a normal days activity. I haven't been using the extra calories earned as I feel it defeats the purpose of exercising to some point. I have lost about 13lbs in the last 4 weeks (exercise almost every day) and I'm enjoying the results. Just wondering what your thoughts are.

Controversial yet well covered topic. You can always use the search to see some of the other posts like yours.
But that being said
Unless you are using an HRM the calorie readings on here or a machine are not going to be perfect. Eating back excercise cals is advisable because MFP builds in a deficit for you (based on normal daily activity) so your body does need more fuel when you work out.
I only eat back about half.
The rule I go by though, If Im hungry I eat, If Im not I dont. But I wont feel guilty if I go over by 100 cals the next day either if I was working out hard the day (or 3 days) before and didnt eat "everything" back0 -
I usually have my exercise calories as a back up in case i get a little hugry at the end of the day or if I know im going out to dinner with hubby and ned the extra calories. I usually don't eat them unless i really need them I let my body tell me if i need to eat them back.0

I don't always get in the extra calories as most of my exercise is at the end of the day. I might choose to eat a little more for lunch and breakfast but many times I don't even get half. I say try to be as on as possible. WIth me I only have two days of intense workout so if the next day I go over by 50cals I just don't worry about it. There is a zig zag calorie thing some people on here do but I don't know much about it.0

People have different opinions on this subject.
Some eat them, some don't.
Most of the time I don't. I think the calories burned sometimes look too much, but I might go a bit over my daily goal by 1 or 200 if I had a good exercise day.0 -
Please eat back at least some of your exercise calories. HeatherBelle is correct - calorie counts can be off. Eating back half your calories (as a rule) and more when you feel you are dragging is a good strategy.
The more you move - the more FUEL your body needs. Think of it this way - if you lose weight & settle into a sedentary lifestyle - your maintenence calories will be low. If you continue your current active lifestyle your maintenece calories will be higher.0
