okay need some tips to loose weight..

so i got told to up my calories as i was eating about 1200 calories a day and wasnt looseing weight
iv done a calorie counter and it says eat 1390 a day to loose 1lb a week i reaaaly want to loose weight but nothin seems to help as anyone got any tips for me? i cant go the gym or walk much as i have muscular dystrophy so i go on my crosstrainer at home
help somebody? :)

    I have been a member for almost a year. I have lost 30 lbs. without exercise. I was on1200 cal a day but have since changed to 1400 to maintain. If you stick to your goals and try not to go over you should have no trouble loosing all you want.

    I feel exactly the same way. I keep wondering if somehow this could be off. I do about 1200 as well & try to fit a workout in 5 days a week, but not long & hard ones. I haven't really lost anything in a month. I am wondering if those off days like holidays where I am up to like 1500 cal is sabotaging everything. I see people working out long & hard burning a lot of calories & wondering if this is my problem but I see dis06 saying he or she lost 30 lbs without exercising.

    stick to your good eating... plenty meat & veg (try adding oily fish & almonds/cashew nuts 6-10 nuts couple of times a day) try either keeping your heart rate to 60-70% of maximum ( so.... 200 - age divided by 100 x 60 then same x 70 to get your zone or use a calculator on google im 32 mines 115-130 ish lol) or do interval training so sprint for 30sec - 1min then let your heart rate drop (2mins slow) and repeat. minimum of 20mins exercise. avoid processed sugar !!!!!!!!!! also eat every 2-3 hours keeps your body in a high fat burn state.. hope this helps !!!!!!!!!
