Are Skinny-Fat girls accepted here?

Hi all,
I found this site while internet hunting for strength training exercises. I really hope I'm not intruding, as I'm not looking to lose any weight. You can kick me to the curb if there's not really a place for me here.;)
I read through a post making mention of the skinny-fat body type and that's me! I'm thin, but NOT well conditioned. As motivation to become one smokin' hot mama, I have just signed myself up for ToughMudder NorCal and have 15 weeks to kick my booty into high gear. By September 18, I need to be capable of running 10 miles at altitude, as well as perform about 15 rather rigorous "stunts.". I'm excited to get started, but also very nervous at the prospect of letting my teammates down if I can't get into shape (I have signed onto a team with friends who are a bit more athletically inclined than myself).
This site looks like such a fabulous-friendly place, and I love all of the groups to join that provide accountability. I think it's just what I need to keep focused. So can I stay?

Well... it IS called my FITNESS pal, not my WEIGHT LOSS pal. I don't see why not!0

PS I like to think of myself as a FAT-SKINNY girl... so really there's not much difference!0

You can absolutely stay!!! I've always been skinny fat, but recently put on a little bit of weight. Still though, I only need to lose about 10-15 pounds, and I mostly want to tone up and actually be 'fit' for once in my life.
We've got people with all kinds of different goals here, so you should have no problem finding like-minded people!

If all about fitness ,trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle and meeting and talking to like minded people. Ok a lot of us are trying to lose a few pounds or two, in my several but it's great to get support from a variety of people.
Good luck with your fitness journey, hope you have fun here.0 -
No no, you can absolutely stay! I am also in that category, though I've never used that term before. Anywho, enjoy your journey and good luck with that challenge! If you need a buddy, you can add me.0

I had a friend I've known since high school that just did the SOCAL tough mudder. Make sure you do it with a couple friends, some obstacles you can't do without help. He said it was THE hardest thing he has ever done, but soooo worth it! One day people were getting sun burnt and the next hypothermia. I would LOVE to do the Denver one next summer if I can get in good enough shape Welcome and good luck!!!0

I'm so jealous of your ambition with tough Mudder! One of my friends asked if i would be interested in that and I just got terrified. Haha0

OP: As long as you don't get grossed out reading about my flappy arms or pickle cream cravings, welcome!0
