Saturday I was under by 178 calories and Sunday I was over by 117 calories. Will that make any difference in my weight loss if I was over just the one day?

No. there's still a deficit there. Just keep at it.

It shouldn't. But typically, if you are under one day, you don't keep those calories for the next day. Or vice versa. So don't make a habit of doing it. Just try to be as close to your goal as you can. Each day is a new day. Don;t let the previous day dictate how you eat today. If you have a bad day, and are either way under or way over, move on the next day like it never happened. Learn from the mistake that caused you to be over/under, and adjust your food so it doen't happen.
I had this happen quite a few times when I started Insanity. I had to workout quite a few times at night, and did not eat enough during the day for the burn I had doing Insanity. So I would just be way under for that day. Move on to the next day, and made sure I ate a little more to cover my exercise calories for that day. I never ate the excess calories from the day before. It's all a learning process. But you're doing it, and that's what counts the most!!! Keep up the great work!!!!

I recommend an extra walk to burn a few calories if your day is not over.

I don't agree: As people's success with zig-zagging calories has shown, being over one day and under another should not adversely effect your weight loss as long as your weekly average is at your goal weight.
