The things with abs is, abs really show when you have a low percentage of body fat. So, cardio and a clean diet are actually key to showing off ripped abs. HOWEVER, it is important to do your ab exercises and have a strong core. My gym has an "ab lab". We do everything from crunches to holding plank (excellent for abs!), V sit-ups, full sit ups holding a 10 pound dumbell and more. When you join a gym, see if there is one that has a class or instructor that can help walk you through some exercises. :flowerforyou:0

The best exercises to do for "abs" are compound exercises. Check into "The New Rules of Lifting for Women" book. It will give you the know-how to begin a fitness regime by lifting weights and doing High Intensity cardio (HIIT). If you can finish this program along with a good diet you can get in tip-top shape!0
