I am trying to add calories to my diet during the day - I can work out in morning (cardio workout) or at night (spinning/weight workout) and burn anywhere from 500-700 calories during the day which I need to replenish wit my diet - what advantages does muscle milk light have and should I take it after a workout or before I go to bed? Thanks!

  • I drink muscle milk whenever I need some extra protein or a quick snack. After your workout, you need more carbs to replenish so if you drink it after you work out, add some fruit with it.
  • The only thing it will do will be add the calories from protein, fat, and carbs. The time of day you drink it has no relevance. It can be a good source of protein if you are coming up short on your protein goals.
