motivation and accountability

Just getting started using myfitnesspal. A friend suggested I check it out as she is using it now. I started changing my lifestyle at the beginning of April and have consistently lost (and gained) the same 4 pounds! Need to find my motivation again and to hold myself accountable for the exercising and watching what I eat. I think this site will be of help with that.

    I too have the issue with them 4 pounds! I lose them in the middle of the week then gain them during the weekend and start of the week. I can only assume I need to alter my weekend eating habits.

    Welcome! I think you'll find exactly what you need here. I too really need motivation and REALLY need to be held accountable for what I eat and how often I exercise. Knowing anyone can look at my diary at any moment has helped me make much better choices over the past 6 weeks (well, most of the time!). :)

    Wellcome aboard, I found it to be a great site, I have been here for few months myself I haven't lost a great lot but I think is just me. I don't give up I keep at it everyday and eventhough I have had my ups and downs I have great motivaters here who help me get up and keep at it. So if I can do it so can you feel free to add me if you want we can do this together. Good luck

    I hear ya I have been on for a few months now and can't see to go anywhere...

    But we have to remember we did not get heavy overnight and so it will take time, try not to get too discouraged.
