Can you track how many miles you walk/run on mfp?

I put my cardio in but it only allows me to add type and minutes. If it takes me only 20 minutes to walk a brisk mile at 3.5 mph, then I accomplish walking the same distance at 15 minutes wouldn't that be more calories burned!!!...Today I walked 1.25 miles at a brisk pace and my burning calories amount is decreasing!...so I need something that I can use to track my distance and mph (on the cheap) any ideas? Maybe I was walking at 4.0 mph...befuddled but still at it!
