This is probably a dumb question but why don't we track calories burned while doing resistance training. I started yesterday but just entered sets/reps/weight. Don't these calories burned count toward your calorie deficit?

You can add strength training under cardio for the kcal burned.

I noticed that too. I think it is too difficult for the system to really track how much calories were burned because there are many different body types and many different exercises.
I just remind myself that yes, I did burn more calories than what it says, but I still only allow myself to eat the number that is allowed.

I do body sculpting classes and put it under cardio instead of strength training.

OK, thanks. I take the calories burned from my HRM and log it as slow walking. It was only 294 calories but if we're supposed to eat back our calories...Thanks again.

I was wondering this as well. I went over my calories by 70 today and forget that I did tons of weights, so I shouldn't worrying and am probably still under
