Hi Everyone! So people keep talking about Net Calories. I was told by my trainer that my BMR is around 1300 and that I should eat 1300 daily. However, I do intense workouts (spinning, kick boxing, step aerobics) which I burn anywhere from 400-600. This would bring my net to 700-900 which is under 1200. Is this why I can't lose weight? should I put back in those calories from working out? Thanks for your help!

Yes! You should eat back @ least 1/2 of your exercise calories. If you eat more calories, you should start losing weight. I know it sounds weird but it is true. You need to try and net @ least 1200 calories a day!

I'm just catching on to that myself. Make sure you do eat 1200 net calories total. If not, your body will act out.

Most people eat their exercise cals back. But be careful MFP over estimates cals burned. Heart rate monitors are pretty accurate.. Your net should be 1,200 that's food-exercise===should still be 1,200
