Goals for life: Looking good, Feeling healthy!

I'm 25 years old and I want to be truly fit for the first time in 10 years (or maybe ever)! My new husband is naturally very trim, but I've gradually gained about 15 pounds over the last 8 years, and whenever I look at pictures of myself I can see that it shows. I'm a proactive person, so last winter I joined a gym and now it's time to get my eating in check.
So far, I am surprised at what a big difference one dessert a day can make, and how easy it is to change these habits just by being active and vigilant. I love how easy this site is to use...it's incredibly helpful to know exactly how much I've eaten throughout the day and how close I am to my goals!

It's definitely a great tool. It has really helped me not to underestimate what a handful of something here or an extra dash of dressing there does to my daily calories!0
