Ripped in 30 question!

I've been doing Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred, which I love, and have 7 days left of level 3. I'm looking for input on what to tackle next. Thinking about Ripped in 30 or another Jillian program, but I live in an upstairs apartment, and the jumping around in 30DS kinda pushed the limits of what I like to put my neighbors through. Is there a lot of jumping in Ripped or other JM programs? Any other low cost, lower impact suggestions?? I walk every day too, so I really need mainly strength training.

I did the Ripped in 30 and it's really good. I started doing Jillian's kettlebell workout when a member here pointed out to me that she (Jillian) is not a certified kettlebell instructor. I ordered Lauren Brooks' kettlebell DVD online and started it a couple of weeks ago - it's FANTASTIC. It's a good mix of cardio and strength training, and I'm seeing a big difference in my body already. There isn't a lot of jumping around either, except for one exercise maybe (squat thrusts). All you need is a mat and a kettlebell.

Thanks! Kettlebell workouts intrigue me, I'll have to look at that.

I just started Ripped in 30 and was wondering how I should log/track it, to get my accurate caloire "credit" :) any suggestions? I'm only on Level 1 since I just started today so I'm not sure if she gets to jumping much in the other levels, but no jumping jacks in level 1. (I also did 30 day shred, so I'm anxious to see how Ripped in 30 compares)...

It should be logged under 'cardio' but to get an accurate count of what you're burning, you'd really need a HRM. Everyone burns at different rates, I found out. I had talked to a friend at work who averaged it at 350-400 cals per workout, but when I bought a HRM I found that I was burning a little over 250. Especially if you are eating back your exercise cals, you want to make sure you are logging what you are burning. I bought a Polar FT4 for under a hundred dollars.
