NOT LOSING WEIGHT !!!!

HELP!!!not losing.... are we suppose to eat the calories we earned from our exercises....i walk 4-6 miles 4 days a wk, 2 spinning classes, 2 weight training sessions,im active but im not losing weight...HELP please

    open your diary so we can see...and how long have you been doing this routine? It took me 3 months for my body to figure out that it's ok to lose the weight, there isn't a famine coming any time soon

    I say YES! With that much exercise your body needs the fuel. Intense exercise is very stressful on the body. It will fight against it.

    Can't see your diary but most likely you are eating too little or not enough Protein.

    Stay above 1200 calories even if you have to eat back your calories.

    Get LOTS of protein/fiber and water.

    Especially if you are trying the MINIMUM 1200 goal, then you ABSOLUTELY need to eat more.
    1200 is the BARE minimum you should consume per day.
    Try changing your goal to 1 lb per week, which will increase your goal calories. Eating more is usually the key, FAR too many people eat too little and end up being their own worst enemy.

    thanks to all....my daily base is 1290....i usually eat about 100 calories a day but i burn about 500(i underestimate) calories a day...i do drink lots of water about 10 glasses if not more.....i will look at the food report and see if im having too much sugar, or something other things...this site is great...im recently back, but i never participate in the message boards....thanks again

    I hope that's a typo and not 100. If you only eat 100 after exercise then that's your problem, you aren't giving your body enough fuel. With exercise eat around 1200 calories a day.

    have to agree with upping the calories when excersising. Metabolism slows as we age, so your body may be trying to store instead of burn.

    sorry i meant to say 100 extra calories daily...that would put about 1390....thanks
