VACATION!

I'm so excited about our trip but we don't leave for a week and I'm already stressing about not going wild with food and eating during our 12 day trip. I plan to bring protein bars and have them on hand at all times as well as apples. We're traveling by train for several legs of travel (Minneapolis to Chicago, to Washington DC, to Orlando, to New York City, to Boston, to Chicago, to Minneapolis....FUN!!!) so refrigeration will be limited to a cooler. Your suggestions are welcomed and appreciated!

Leah =)

    Oh my gosh...first of all Sssooooo jealoous of you right now! :tongue:

    Like you said apples, also bannanas (just don't squish them), pears, and oranges travel reasonably well. Maybe even peaches.

    Some veg's too...Like I can eat tomatoes like apples :smile:

    Also rice cakes, granola, bars, raisins, and nuts.

    If you have access to a microwave, Healthy Choice Fresh Mixers are good. Just add water and pop into microwave...No fridge needed!

    Hope that helps some!
    Good luck and have fun! :bigsmile:
