Pedometer

Options
I have a really generic pedometer that just clips to your pants and tells you how many steps you take. For my job I occasionally have to walk and/or stand all day (I usually have a desk job).
Is there any way to log this in as exercise on here? I can only find how to enter minutes walked. I don't really feel that the minutes are correct because it seems I can't enter 8 hours of walking just because I walked all day that day. When I am walking it isn't constant, fast pace but it still definitely gives me a workout compared to my usualy daily routine.
Suggestions?

I think you would want to add that to your Settings in your Profile. Perhaps as "Moderate" activity. It has waitress/mailman listed there. HTH!

I have a pedometer. Mine shows calories burned. Miles walked. How many steps. Example, you walked. 8 hours times that by 60 that will give you your minutes you walk. (60× 8)? . Add it in your exercise. Search for pedometer, it will automatically add burned calories. Hope this helps you.

In this case Google may become your best friend.
I am using a combination of different web sites to try and figure out how to convert walking into calories burned. Here are some links that I use. I've purchased the Tony Little Heart Rate Monitor Pedometer but I haven't received it yet so i can't tell you if it's any good yet.

    Here's Google Map Pedometer:
